Can anyone suggest me the filter for submersible pump water?

I have submersible pump installed in my home in Najafgarh. But, the water is not good for drinking and washing clothes. I need a filter that can be fitted directly on the pipe line and filter the water.

1. I don't know what a Najfgarh is but it is not possible to convert non drinking water to drinking water with a filter unless the water was potable to start with and is contaminated with only with particles not chemicals or microbes.
2. I would not recommend drinking any ground water without testing. However, you could add a water filter system with a Doulton ceramic bacteria filter cartridge to remove bacteria and a KDF/GAC cartridge to remove heavy metals (arsenic, lead), pesticides and other contaminants. I would keep the flow rate to 1/2 gallon a minute or less, and test the water for bacteria and metals before using.
